Every time THE POTION KINGS play, it's a wild new ride.

Their unhinged new release, LEGION was born of three mad nights of unbridled improvisation, dug up deep from the band's collective rock/ jazz/blues upbringing and artfully distilled down to 48 ferocious minutes of glorious psychedelia and coolness.

THE POTION KINGS are Kevin Breit on guitar, mandolin and vocals, Howie Southwood on percussion, Randall Coryell on drums and Jeff Bird on bass and harmonica. While their sideman credits are impressive (Norah Jones, Cassandra Wilson, Hugh Laurie, Rawlins Cross, Tom Cochrane, Allanah Miles, Cowboy Junkies, Loreena McKennitt), the shenanigans on LEGION is what outstanding musicians get up to when left to their own devices.
