THE SHIELD OF REDEMPTION
Greetings. I trust all is well with you and yours.
During our covid break from live performance I began exploring the music of Hildegard von Bingen's 12th century morality play "Ordo Virtutum", considered to be one of the first documented musical dramas. I made an arrangement of one of the pieces for harmonica, shruti box and 20 piece string orchestra. I then enlisted the Fames Project orchestra in Northern Macedonia to record it remotley for me. I am tickled with the results I hope you will be to.
You can find it on Bandcamp or on the streaming platform of your choice. I am also pleased to report that CBC has chosen this track for their June 15 edition of the weekly program "Songs You Need to Hear"
Many of the harmonicas i play come from THE HARMONICA COMPANY. Their selection of manufacturers and models is second to none. Highly recommended!
